Key Responsibilities:
  • Meeting and Event Planning: Plan, organize, and facilitate various hotel and departmental meetings.
  • Brand Compliance: Ensure compliance with brand standards, operating procedures, and policies.
  • Relationship Building: Determine the direction, support, training, and tools necessary to empower staff and provide win-win decisions for internal and external customer challenges.
  • Front Office Management: Direct all activities of the Front Office and communicate with other departments to ensure complete guest and associate satisfaction.
  • Guest Experience: Mentor and assist front desk agents with guest check-in and check-out, provide information about the property and city, and upsell the hotel's enhanced services while anticipating guest needs.
  • Monitoring and Review: Attend bimonthly management lobby/hotel functions, monitor and review guest comments via the Pulse Report, and share feedback with staff to improve guest satisfaction, relations, and loyalty scores.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure Front Office efficiencies and service levels through scheduling and monitoring staffing levels.
  • Revenue Management: Monitor daily availability and occupancy, communicate with the revenue manager to resolve challenging issues, and complete employee evaluations upon approval from the Director of Hotel Operations.
  • Loss Prevention: Participate in Fire Safety and Loss Prevention programs and ensure accurate and properly posted No-Show charges.
Requirements:
  • Hotel Management Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of prior luxury hotel management experience in a Front Office leadership role for a similar hotel/resort.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Resort Management or Business is preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and experience with Opera is strongly preferred, as well as computer literacy and financial management skills.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Proven team leader with high energy and motivation, a proven track record of living the company's values, and the ability to resolve guest, supervisor, and associate conflicts with ease and efficiency.
  • Language Skills: The ability to speak additional languages is preferred.
  • Work Schedule: Open to working varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, and must be able to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Card and a Nevada Gaming License prior to hire.
