KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees field supervisors and team members by offering guidance and training, while effectively communicating organizational policies, procedures, and goals. This includes recruitment, performance management, and implementing progressive discipline.
  • Implements the company's safety initiatives. This involves conducting safety audits as needed and emphasizing the significance of safety among all team members.
  • Conducts site visits and performs quality assessments to guarantee that repairs are executed efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Ensures that job audits are completed promptly following construction and modernization handovers. This includes identifying potential issues that may impact equipment reliability and providing constructive feedback for future improvements.
  • Utilizes financial reports and route management tools to analyze service routes and callbacks, making necessary adjustments to enhance profitability.
  • Offers technical expertise to the sales team regarding the scope of work and required materials for repair bids, including calculating labor and material expenses.
  • Implements the Cancellation Reduction Strategy.
  • Collaborates with the Branch Manager and service sales leaders to address client requirements.
  • Maintains current knowledge of all relevant federal, state, and local elevator industry regulations.
  • Stays well-informed about company products by participating in training sessions and reviewing updates on factory equipment and supplier offerings, including collaboration with regional trainers.
  • Manages the parts program for service contracts and repairs to meet budgetary goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Comprehensive understanding of the elevator sector and general management practices within the industry.
  • Bachelor's degree (may be substituted with extensive industry experience); or a minimum of two years of management experience at a branch or departmental level; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to identify issues, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Capable of interpreting a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form, and managing various abstract and concrete variables.
