Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
UTMB Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced practice health care services to patients and families. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in nursing or higher with appropriate nurse practitioner certification for patient care in the area of clinical specialization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary health care to patients and families throughout the course of care.
Use assessment, diagnosis, management, and evaluation to provide care that integrates the psychosocial and physical needs of patients and families.
Establish a therapeutic relationship with patients and families.
Plan, develop, coordinate, and provide appropriate health education and counseling in response to patient needs.
Contribute to the advancement of the profession and ensure high-quality care within the RWSP.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of nursing experience in the Pediatric unit.
Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) with board certification.
