Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
UTMB Health is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Pediatrics department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide advanced practice health care services to patients and families, collaborating with colleagues and clinical directors to ensure high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary health care to patients and families throughout the course of care
Use assessment, diagnosis, management, and evaluation to provide care that integrates psychosocial and physical needs
Establish a therapeutic relationship with clients and families
Plan, develop, coordinate, and provide appropriate health education and counseling in response to patient needs
Requirements:
Master's degree in nursing or higher with appropriate nurse practitioner certification
Current Texas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure
No experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of nursing experience in the Pediatric unit
Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) with board certification
