Advanced Practice Provider, Internal Medicine Specialist

As an Advanced Practice Provider, Internal Medicine, you will perform responsible clinical care in collaboration with the unit physician and under approved protocols. Your key responsibilities will include managing the medical aspects of care, providing health teachings, and promoting the maintenance of health in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities- Performs responsible clinical care in collaboration with the unit physician and under approved protocols.
- Manages the medical aspects of care, including observation, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, evaluation, rehabilitation, care, and counsel.
- Provides health teachings and promotes the maintenance of health in a clinical setting.
- Collaborates with the unit physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Completion of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
- Or completion of a graduate level (or higher) nurse practitioner program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas Physician Assistant Board/Texas Medical Board (TPAB/TMB) or Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) by the Texas Board of Nursing (TBON) and Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in a nurse practitioner clinical area of specialization by the Texas Board of Nursing (TBON).
