Job Title: Agile Project Lead

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for leading project teams that execute strategic projects and/or epics using Waterfall and/or Scrum methodologies. The Agile Project Lead will also help coach others in the organization on Agile principles.

Key Responsibilities:
Formulate and define technical scope and objectives of project, ensuring milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout the project lifecycle
Develop project plans identifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans/obstacle remediation, and allocation of available resources
Maintain current and complete project management data and documents in enterprise systems
Report actual to budgets, help balance the prioritization of technical debt against new feature innovation and software/product/project delivery
Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors and peers by preparing project status reports, keeping management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues improving transparency and radiating information
Facilitate meetings and other forums such as Planning, Refinement, Review, and Retrospective with participants/stakeholders to drive toward desired outcomes within prescribed timeframes
Actively work with Product Owner(s) to ensure the product backlog maintains precision for Sprint planning and forecasting
Guide and coach the scrum team and organization on how to apply and use the Agile Methodology and Scrum principles

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's Degree preferred
One or more of the following certifications: First or Second Level Scrum Master Certification (PSM I/II, CSM/A-CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM)
Two (2) years Scrum Master experience
Process orientation and conceptual understanding of project management must have expertise in leveraging different types of project management practices
Must have experience working in Agile delivery methodology
Must be able to use a computer without the assistance of others
Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft SharePoint
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Ability to create a positive work/team environment
Effectively manage conflict while achieving maximum results
Ability to coordinate effective collaboration across a team
Strong analytical skills, good judgment, and decision-making ability
Commitment to being part of a team and working within a diverse environment
Committed to self-development growth and expanding his/her knowledgebase
Ability to be highly organized and effective working in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for developing relationships with individuals and teams across the company ranging from technical product teams to senior leadership
