Responsibilities

Employer: Weatherford U.S., L.P.

Position Title: Global Product Line Specialist - Artificial Lift

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze, plan, organize, and commercialize Rotaflex long stroke and conventional pumping unit products and/or services, addressing the needs expressed by the product line from inception through implementation, commercialization, and training.
- Support product life cycles to maximize profitability and achieve marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives.
- Define and guide product strategy by gathering insights and business requirements from clients, creating product-based solutions to generate revenue and/or add value.
- Collaborate with Research, Development, and Engineering (RD&E) to advance Product Line products and/or services.
- Assess requests for new technology modifications, enhancements, and features.
- Work alongside Project Management and Engineering teams to implement solutions.
- Monitor the progress of product life cycles.
- Develop product improvement content (technical alerts, updated field procedures, and work instructions).
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain the training requirements for Global Product Lines.

Travel: 25% domestic and international travel required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related quantitative field of study, along with 4 years of experience in a Sales Engineering role related to mechanical reciprocating rod lift equipment and services.

Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate experience in:
  • 4 years of experience with Reciprocating Rod lift systems, including design, repair, and maintenance for long stroke and conventional pumping units;
  • 1 year of experience managing maintenance programs for mechanical equipment;
  • Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), Permanent Magnet Motors (PMMs), induction motors, and rod pump controllers applied to pumping unit applications;
  • Utilizing Nodal Analysis Software, WellFlo, JEMS, RODSTAR, CFER, VALCAL, SROD, and PROSPER;
  • Conducting mathematical operations including frequency distributions, test reliability and validity, variance analysis, correlation techniques, and factor analysis;
  • Preparing communications and presentations for all managerial levels and technical abilities in a diverse multicultural and multilingual environment;
  • Evaluating oil & gas tenders, market conditions, and operational requirements.
All experience may be acquired concurrently.
