Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data coverage, providing department insights on performance, and designing data pipelines to handle various quantitative projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop new, modify existing, and execute ad-hoc reporting on behalf of business procedures and data-driven decision making.
  2. Create relevant dashboards on Power BI and Excel.
  3. Establish solid data quality standards and management to ensure data integrity and availability.
  4. Manage and generate new data pipelines from source systems to the Data Warehouse.
  5. Collaborate with Administration and Business Analysts to identify business requirements, maintain detailed documentation, and obtain company sign-offs for all reporting demands.
  6. Develop, maintain, and establish scalable data pipelines and data architecture.
  7. Use data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI.
  8. Help automate existing business processes and enhance exception-based reporting.
  9. Collaborate with IT and BA's to investigate, research, and obtain new data variables (data mining).
  10. Analyze large datasets to identify significant patterns that provide actionable results.
  11. Significantly analyze data compiled from various sources and resolve problems.
  12. Verify records for formality by checking against requirements.
  13. Analyze and remediate data errors.
  14. Participate in the Data Governance plan by improving the data dictionary and plan & procedures.
  15. Analyze and validate metrics are effective and provide reviews to department innovators of patterns that need attention.
Credentials

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 2+ years of experience performing in-depth data analysis.
  • Tough experience working with PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of DAX, SQL, M Code.
  • Skillful in SQL, able to write sophisticated SQL to create files and analytics.
  • Efficient in ETL tools such as SSIS, PowerBI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations.
  • Strong data modeling knowledge using star schema or other approaches.
  • Problem-solving through analytical evaluation with large data sets strongly more effective.
  • Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Center), Power BI, and Power Query.
  • Knowledge with Smartsheets.
  • Strong initiative in the progression and timely finalization of projects and deadlines.
