Cloud Data Management Specialist

Role Overview
We're seeking a skilled Cloud Data Management Specialist to join our team at Informatica. As a key member of our Technical Sales team, you will play a vital role in formulating comprehensive technical account plans and strategies, and leading sales engagements to their technical conclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and partners to develop technical account plans and strategies
- Lead sales engagements to their technical conclusion, driving success by understanding customer use cases and crafting technical solutions
- Educate customers and internal stakeholders about the Informatica value proposition, engaging in in-depth architectural discussions, and ensuring solutions are optimized for successful deployment and usage in the cloud
- Contribute to pipeline generation through the delivery of technical workshops, active participation in social media promotions, content creation for external dissemination, and involvement in industry marketing events
- Support the Customer Success team through collaboration and customer nurture activities to drive consumption
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of top 3 cloud ecosystems and top 2 data-related technologies
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing security aspects
- Basic certification on at least 1 cloud ecosystem and 1 data-related cloud technology
- Knowledge of at least one INFA-related software platform or technology
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects and customers
- Engage and create relationships with influencers, coaches, decision makers, and partners
- Basic technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, or Business Intelligence software concepts and products
- 2+ years of relevant experience in data integration, master data management, or data governance
- 1+ year of presales/technical sales, industry, or consulting experience
- BA/BS or equivalent educational background
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage customer engagements
- Share best practices, content, and tips and tricks within the primary area of responsibility
- Stay current on certification of services required for area of responsibility
- Perform all activities of the delivery of a customer demo with some assistance, including discovery, technical qualification/fit, customer presentations, standard demos, and related customer-facing communication
- RFP responses and/or POCs
- Partner with the CSM team on nurture activities, including technical advisory, workshops, etc.
- Provide customer feedback on product gaps using Vivun
- Support demos at marketing events independently
