Job Summary

Medline Industries, a leading manufacturer and distributor of healthcare supplies, is seeking a highly skilled SAP Master Data Functional Analyst to join their Transportation & Operations team. Key Responsibilities and Competencies:

  • Coordinate the work between business partners and team members with on and offshore locations.
  • Work closely with business partners and cross-functional teams to represent Master Data team for cross-team initiatives.
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues.
  • Experience of Agile and traditional SDLC delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to understand end-to-end processes across systems.
  • Work with business sponsors to understand business requirements and drive the design and delivery of quality technical solutions.
  • Assist in identification of and resolution of gaps in business processes and proposed changes.
  • Assist in effort estimation.
  • Communicate and coordinate with team manager and business leadership to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across the enterprise.
  • Oversee, define, and monitor critical path activities and resolve issues or escalate issues to the Team Manager as needed.
  • Available as on-call support for critical issues during non-working hours as documented in team support schedule.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of SAP Master Data: Business Partners (Customers and Vendors), Materials.
  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related Information Technology field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • SQL knowledge for performing data extraction and analysis.
  • Knowledge of Coupa Supplier portal interface to SAP.
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Maintenance systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency for gathering and translating business requirements into tangible work products.
  • Demonstrated proficiency for working in fast-paced work environments in a matrixed organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to translate business processes or concepts into technical requirements.
  • Ability to self-direct and accomplish objectives as part of larger project teams.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in complex problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Zephyr Squad for writing test cases.
  • Experience with various integration protocols such as XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, and API.
