**About the Role**
At HNTB, we are seeking a highly skilled Public Engagement Coordinator to support the coordination and implementation of public engagement and involvement programs for infrastructure projects.
This role involves assisting with the development of communication strategies, researching and gathering data, and creating project messaging resources to educate the community.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of communication principles and be able to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to educate the public and stakeholders on infrastructure projects.
- Conduct research and gather data to support effective communication strategies.
- Prepare and coordinate the dissemination of outreach materials and facts to stakeholders.
- Track and maintain records related to public involvement meetings and outreach events.
- Draft speeches and create presentation materials for use in meetings and public consumption.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
- Assisting with social media monitoring and content development.
- Modifying existing materials and documents using Adobe and Microsoft products.
- Developing and maintaining a stakeholder database.
- Researching with direction from senior staff.
- Assisting with public outreach and events information gathering.
