Pediatric ICU Nursing Coordinator

**Job Summary:**
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring efficient throughput and high-quality patient care in the Pediatric ICU. This role involves coordinating unit operations, directing nursing staff, and collaborating with the management team to improve patient outcomes. The CNC also plays a key role in recommending and implementing courses of action to ensure a competitively better organization.
**Responsibilities:**
* Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure smooth transitions
* Participate in ongoing assessment of quality patient care services provided in the unit
* Support engagement initiatives, including employee rounding and hourly rounds
* Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff
* Manage practical aspects of staff labor according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines
* Support proper inventory control and manage supplies and equipment
**Requirements:**
* Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
* Licensure, Certifications, Training: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
