Cardiovascular Lab Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Lab team at Southern Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations, addressing their psychosocial, physical, and general needs in the surgical environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations, addressing their psychosocial, physical, and general needs in the surgical environment.
- Communicate continuously and as needed with physicians about patient condition.
- Assist with the maintenance of equipment and inventory.
- Assess procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
- Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.
- Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
- Monitor and record patients' condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
- Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.
- One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.
