We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at Southern Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Direct Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients, addressing their psychosocial, physical, and general needs related to the surgical environment.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of equipment and inventory to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Procedure Preparation: Assess procedure rooms and equipment to ensure readiness for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Supply Management: Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure the Cardiovascular Laboratory team's needs are met.
- Monitoring and Documentation: Continuously monitor patients' conditions and record vital signs, physiologic, and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- License: Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
- Certifications: Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Experience: One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area required.
