A Day in the Life of a Winter Seasonal Culinary Specialist:

Picture starting your day with breathtaking mountain views. As a culinary specialist, your responsibilities will include preparing and cooking meals, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a pristine kitchen environment. During breaks, you can ski right outside the lodge. After your shift, unwind and share experiences with colleagues in a supportive and vibrant setting.

Keys to Success as a Winter Seasonal Culinary Specialist:

  • Culinary expertise and experience in food preparation
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Utah food handler's permit within 30 days of employment

Essential Learning in the First 90 Days:

  • Kitchen operations and food safety protocols
  • Food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Excellence in guest service
  • Safety and sanitation standards

Work Schedule & Location:

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Located at the base of the Alta Ski Area, offering ski-in, ski-out access
