As a member of the AIML PM team, you will influence user interactions with cutting-edge technology. This position will oversee the project management of the design and execution of quality and release protocols centered on AIML.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve coordinating and propelling initial engagements focused on product quality, process establishment, and program execution. This entails collaboration with all relevant partner organizations for a project. You will:
- Communicate: Deliver clear, timely, and objective communication, including regular updates on program status and critical issues to the executive team.
- Coordinate: Facilitate discussions and decompose complex issues into manageable topics to drive engineering and design alignment, ensuring teamwork and collaboration.
- Plan: Develop and oversee project timelines with explicit dependencies, critical paths, and a systematic approach to status communication. Manage risks and mitigation strategies, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Execute: Ensure timely delivery and deployment, identifying development needs and feasibility, and establishing milestones for progress tracking.
- Problem Solve: Proactively recognize challenges and devise solutions, mobilizing necessary resources to address and resolve issues. Collaborate with teams to prioritize tasks and monitor risks related to schedule and product quality, including cross-functional dependencies.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering project or program management.
- Exceptional project management skills, including structuring projects and managing multiple interdependent work streams.
- Ability to articulate abstract concepts clearly and independently manage complex project goals.
- Capability to draft and present deliverables, recommendations, and communication strategies autonomously.
- 8+ years of experience in engineering project or program management.
- Outstanding group facilitation and influence capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of testing, build, and release processes for advanced software.
- Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Robust leadership abilities, including mentoring, team-building, and conflict resolution.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, encompassing negotiation, presentation, and influence.
- At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package, determined within a specified range. This structure allows for growth as you develop within your role. The base pay range for this position is between $157,000 and $278,900, contingent upon your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in discretionary employee stock programs. Employees may be eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a variety of discounted products and services, and reimbursement for certain educational expenses related to career advancement at Apple. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
