You will partner with a multidisciplinary team of platform engineers, data governance specialists, Infosec and legal teams, data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver important data infrastructure projects and initiatives with broad organizational, business, and technical impact.
  • Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions, reducing manual efforts through automation.
  • Standardize the tech stack, bringing strong, data-driven, and strategic technical judgment to decisions.
  • Prioritize and align the build-out of data platforms with the overall data strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve execution of the organization, increasing data science and engineering productivity through tools and process improvements.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineers, architects, data scientists, AI engineers, and other functions involved in the data life cycle, especially in earlier phases when architecture is not yet well defined.
  • Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with engineering leaders and stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocation strategies, and manage multiple projects/initiatives.
  • Ability to ask the right technical questions, make appropriate trade-offs, and ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with technical and business owners to define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope, including defining the roadmap and long-term strategy with the teams you are partnering.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly.
  • Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and drive cross-functional execution of program deliverables.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of program management experience in data platform or related roles, with a focus on designing and managing data platforms and data governance.
  • 8+ years of demonstrated industry experience and expertise leading medium to large complex projects in current cloud technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud data platforms, preferably in Azure.
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of platform and data architecture, design, data management, and Azure cloud data services.
  • Experience and strong understanding of automated platform provisioning, using industry-standard tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Jira required.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment around vision.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) with the ability to adapt based on project requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, change management, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Agile, Scrum, and/or Project Management certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with ADLS, Databricks, and Snowflake is a plus.
  • Experience with Collibra and OneTrust is a plus.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: $151,200 to $226,800 USD.
  • Opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals in the field of data infrastructure.
  • Chance to make a meaningful impact on the organization's data strategy and governance.
