About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at Student Transportation of America.

Job Description

As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school along established routes. This includes:

  • Conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
  • Picking up and dropping off student passengers at designated stops
  • Attending monthly safety meetings

You will also be required to maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to company standards.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Driving a school bus route, following established protocols
  • Performing daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
  • Cleaning the bus as needed to maintain a positive company image
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 21 years of age
  • A clean driving record within the last 24-36 months
  • The ability to obtain a CDL
  • Completion of a comprehensive training program
  • Pass a pre-employment background check
