Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our Lynnwood, WA team.

About the Role

This Electrical Engineering Manager position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of electrical engineers in support of new product development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in power electronics and experience managing teams in a similar capacity.

The Electrical Engineering Manager will be responsible for ensuring that staff development and evaluation plans are implemented to maximize employee potential. This includes accountability and appropriate training and counseling plans. Additionally, the manager will identify and manage contract personnel as needed during periods of high need/short-term resource loading requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead Electrical Engineering team(s) to support product development needs
  • Ensure that staff development and evaluation plans are implemented to maximize employee potential
  • Identify and manage contract personnel as needed
  • Responsible for identification of required resource levels and skill mix

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of power electronics/analog experience and 3+ years of People managerial experience. Aerospace/Space experience and project management experience are preferred.

A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline is required. Strong new product development process knowledge and implementation are also essential.
