Cardiology APRN Job Description

We are seeking an experienced APRN to join our Cardiology team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Cardiology APRN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our Cardiology program.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient education and counseling on cardiovascular health and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiology and incorporate evidence-based practice into patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as an APRN in the state of Connecticut.
  • Experience working in a Cardiology setting, preferably in an academic or research institution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
