About the Role
- Perform a wide range of office-based procedures under the supervision of an attending physician, including removal of cerumen and assisting with flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopy.
- Triage and respond to phone calls from referring physicians, patients, and their families, allied health professionals, and insurance companies regarding patient care.
- Conduct thorough history and physical examinations, write clinical notes, and enter patient information and prescriptions into an electronic medical records system.
- Effectively communicate with the healthcare team, patients, and family members to consult, refer, and coordinate patient care and other service issues.
Requirements
- Current Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or Current appropriate national certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Clear and active license as a Physician Assistant in the State of Delaware or Delaware (or compact state) RN licensure & Delaware APRN Licensure.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- 1+ years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider preferred.
- Sign-on bonus offered to external candidates only.
