Job Summary

YKK AP America is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Controller to oversee all accounting functions, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and credit/collections management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial functions, including invoicing, A/P, G/L, inventory/cost accounting, credit/collections, and revenue recognition.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, as well as company internal control procedures and practices.
  • Develop and maintain a strong internal control environment.
  • Monitor and analyze company and departmental operating results budget.
  • Responsible for annual inventory revaluation/standard costing and physical inventory.
  • Support and responsible for the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain a system of controls over finished goods and products inventory, manage the costing process for all items in the ERP systems.
  • Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
  • Drive, recommend, and coordinate changes in automated financial and management information systems.
  • Establish and implement short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Manage inventory valuations, including annual standard costs establishment, annual physical inventory, and quarterly revaluation calculations.
  • Oversee capital expenditure and fixed asset management.
  • Establish job performance standards, expectations, and measures for all subordinates, including providing ongoing feedback for each employee against expectations.
Requirements
  • CPA and/or MBA in Finance/Accounting from a university, with three to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • In-depth working knowledge of methods, procedures, and terminology.
  • Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, presentation software, internet software, email software, and manufacturing software.
  • Vigilance about safety.
  • Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence.
