Your expertise will be essential in supporting worker-centered occupational safety and health procedures, promoting worker health, and assessing workplace safety from hazards and contaminants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide competent, evidence-based care to employees and oversee licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants.
  • Support worker-centered occupational safety and health procedures.
  • Promote worker health and assess workplace safety from hazards and contaminants.
  • Direct the provision of nursing education, orientation, competencies, and quality improvement and outcomes utilization consultation.
  • Contribute to the development of care delivery models and participate in strategy planning.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, directives, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • English Language Proficiency.
Working Conditions

This position requires visual acuity, keen hearing, clear distinctive speech, and manual dexterity. You may be exposed to infected patients and contaminated materials and may be required to wear protective clothing in isolation situations or during procedures.
