About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Remittance Processing Associate to join our team at FIS. As a key member of our Remittance Processing team, you will play a critical role in processing customer payments and exceptions in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer payments for processing
• Perform 10-key data entry of account numbers, invoice numbers, and amounts
• Conduct research and adjustment activities to ensure accurate processing
• Balance credits and debits within transactions
• Perform MICR line repair as needed
• Work efficiently under deadlines and in a team environment

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Capacity to lift or move up to 20 pounds
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of practices, procedures, and problem-solving techniques required for remittance processing
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• General knowledge of remittance processing
• Banking experience
• Data entry experience
• Payment processing experience, especially check handling
