Job Description

This role is responsible for assisting the project manager and team with project documentation, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with multitasking and prioritizing tasks from preconstruction through completion.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Assist on-site management to ensure project success.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Maintain and review daily superintendent reports.
  • Ensure the project plan meets deadlines.
  • Assist with material procurement, tracking, RFI's, submittals, etc.
  • Participate in the project bidding process.
  • Process owner and subcontractor change orders.
  • Organize OAC weekly meetings.
  • Train or mentor other RAM employees and lead by example.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in Commercial Construction Projects.
  • Commercial TI experience required.
  • OSHPD and/or Medical Office Building experience preferred.
  • Ability to read drawings and understand project constructability.
  • Strong knowledge of Construction document control, RFI's, and submittal processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, & Outlook).
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Procore a plus.
  • Familiarity with CA labor laws and OSHA regulations.
Estimated Salary Range

$67,000 - $85,000 per year
