- The Epic Clinical Informatics Trainer will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of Epic systems across Carle Health. This individual will be responsible for providing comprehensive training and support to users, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization of Epic applications.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs for new hires and existing staff, focusing on Epic system applications and workflows.
- Collaborate with the IT Build Team to design and implement training plans, ensuring user needs are met and resources are allocated effectively.
- Assess user training needs and design training plans, learning objectives, and participant materials to enhance learning.
- Provide individualized support and optimization assistance to users, ensuring they are proficient in using Epic applications.
- Plan, schedule, and implement training sessions, providing follow-up support as needed to ensure user needs are met.
- Evaluate and measure the results of training programs, making recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain training environments, participant materials, and exercises to enhance learning and user adoption.
- Provide specialized training and tools for Super Users assigned to each department, serving as a resource for Super Users and departmental leaders regarding all EMR applications.
- Ensure Meaningful Use compliance by providing training, tools, and materials to users.
