We are seeking a skilled Medical Screening Specialist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services in Ames, IA.
The estimated salary for this position is $16.00 per hour, with the possibility of short-term incentives and participation in a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision insurance, and company match.
As a Medical Screening Specialist, you will be responsible for screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording donor vital signs and finger stick results, and using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records.
You will also help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company-approved procedures.
Key skills and qualifications for this role include high school diploma or equivalent, ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift, and fine motor coordination.
