Job Summary

Welcome to Cooper Hill Ski Area, Inc. We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Port of Entry Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate tickets and passes of guests entering the property using our ticket scanner system.
  • Maintain the snow surfaces around the port of entry to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Greet and welcome guests, setting the tone for their day.
  • Provide direction and information to guests as needed, ensuring they have a positive experience.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of Cooper Hill Ski Area, Inc. policies and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional and positive attitude.
Working Conditions

The Port of Entry Attendant position involves working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to temperature extremes, sun, wind, and inclement weather. Physical requirements include walking on uneven terrain, climbing stairs, and standing for long periods.

Seasonal Status

This is a winter seasonal position, expected to run from early December 2024 to early-mid April 2025. Employment in subsequent seasons is not guaranteed.
