Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bench Receiving Assistant Team Lead to join our team at The Golub Corporation. As a key member of our receiving team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt of goods, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process all grocery and general merchandise product deliveries through the Back Door operation of the retail unit.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times.
  • Ensure that all standards and procedures regarding billing/invoicing are adhered to and maintaining DEX equipment.
  • Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
  • Process and scan damages according to CGO markdown procedures.
  • Print all CGO orders when they arrive at the store.
  • Provide Trade Partners with Dolphins to cycle counts when necessary.
  • Assist Trade Partners and the Grocery Department Managers in achieving Trade Partner service levels.
  • Maintain corporate and state sanitary and safety conditions in the Back Room, storage, and outside areas.
  • Ensure that all LPD policies are adhered to with regard to the Back Door operation.
  • Stock empty shelves and promotional displays when not overseeing the Back Door operation.
  • Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic literacy skills.
  • Satisfactory performance reviews.
  • Basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Exposure to Cold Environment Occasional 1-3 Hours.
  • Standing Constant 5-8 Hours.
  • Walking Constant 5-8 Hours.
  • Grasping/Finger Movement & Dexterity- Left/Right Hands Constant 5-8 Hours.
  • Bending Frequent 3-5 Hours.
  • Twisting Frequent 3-5 Hours.
  • Pivoting Frequent 3-5 Hours.
  • Squatting/Kneeling Frequent 3-5 Hours.
  • Pushing/Pulling Occasional 1-3 Hours up to 2400lbs.
  • Lifting Frequent 3-5 Hours up to 50lbs.
  • Lifting Occasional 1-3 Hours up to 75lbs.

  • Compactor / Bailer.
