Job Summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures for radiological diagnosis, utilizing your expertise to capture high-quality images and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements

• Active registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography or Vascular Sonography.
• Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment, as well as adapt to changing patient conditions.
