Responsibilities
  • Determine client eligibility for government benefits and services, including Medicaid, Affordable Connectivity, and other community resources.
  • Work closely with our staff to assist clients in applying for entitlements, conducting follow-up for outcomes, and submitting reports as required.
  • Provide individual counseling to participants around benefits-related issues and other challenges they may face.
  • Collaborate with external providers to present outreach services to clients and establish relationships with community leaders and organizations.
  • Participate in advocacy efforts and stay informed about wrap-around services provided by DOHMH.

Estimated Salary: $47,000 - $50,000 per year

This is a full-time position, requiring 35 hours of work per week, with the ability to work until 8 pm twice a week. Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus, but not required.
