Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead our substance abuse treatment program in Louisville, Kentucky. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising counselors and counselor interns, ensuring timely documentation of patient services, and managing related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor counselors and counselor interns to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions and coordinate care of assigned patients, presenting patient status and concerns with the treatment team as needed.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans, ensuring compliance with state regulatory requirements.
  • Provide clinical services, patient care, and education, including opiate addiction counseling services to patients receiving methadone maintenance and detoxification treatment.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in a human service field and 2 years of clinical experience, or a Bachelors degree in a related field and 3 years of clinical experience, or certification and/or licensure by an appropriate state body and 3 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience working with substance abuse populations and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Skilled in conducting assessments, utilizing ASI criteria for patient placement, treatment plan development and implementation, service coordination, and crisis intervention.
  • Excellent documentation and computer skills, with the ability to work effectively within a medical hierarchy and autonomously.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population and exhibit excellent customer service skills.
  • Satisfactory criminal background and drug screen.
