Job Summary

Aviation Training Consulting is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Site Focal/Contract Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting Academic Support and Contractor Logistics Support of Devices at our local site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee site operations and personnel in accordance with supervisor's direction.
  • Direct daily supervision of contractor instructors, scheduling personnel, maintenance technicians, subcontractors, flight and training schedules.
  • Ensure contract compliance and adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide student flight instruction in classroom and simulator devices in accordance with customer syllabus of instruction.
  • Act as principal liaison between the assigned government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and ATC.
  • Ensure on-time submittal of monthly Field Service reports to the Training Management System Manager.
  • Coordinate on-site conferences with USAF customers under direction of the Enterprise Training Systems Manager and/or Program Manager or TSSC Manager.
  • Ensure Enterprise Training Systems Manager-directed Fiscal Year student throughput or contracted simulator/academic training milestones are met.
  • Coordinate the execution of yearly, monthly, and weekly training schedules.
  • Provide oversight of training programs and record keeping for all personnel.
  • Evaluate instructor personnel in classroom and devices, if required.
  • Monitor and coordinate all training device's reliability and availability.
  • Ensure Government Use Time (GUT) monthly milestones are met.
  • Ensure the site Quality Assurance Program is following ISO standards.
  • Attend necessary weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings as required or directed by the Enterprise Training Systems Manager and/or Program Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • Must have 7-10 years of progressive management experience.
  • At least three (3) years of previous flight operations and/or flight training management experience.
  • Eight (8) year's total flying experience, (5) years military experience, with at least two (2) years C-130J Contract flight instructor and training experience.
  • Must have recent experience as a C-130J Instructor Contract or Evaluator Contract.
  • Completion of a formal USAF Instructor training course.
  • Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
