Executive Director, Portfolio Management Lead

We are a clinical-stage precision oncology company dedicated to developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. Our R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies.
The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in portfolio management and decision analysis to build out our cross-functional capability and help shape our portfolio strategy. As the Head of Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for the Portfolio Management function, facilitating the Portfolio Working Group (PWG), and evolving the wider portfolio management capability within Revolution Medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a vision for Revolution Medicine's Portfolio Management function.
- Lead the build out of the portfolio management capability, partnering with R&D Leadership, Commercial, Finance, Program Management and other functions.
- Implement best practices including development and use of qualitative and quantitative methods for portfolio prioritization, decision analysis, project trade-offs, and assigning probability of success to support decision making.
- Develop portfolio dashboards and reports supporting executive decision making.
- Facilitate and project manage the Portfolio Working Group (PWG).
- 10+ years' experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with 5+ years' experience in portfolio management, portfolio planning or similar function(s).
- Experience with clinical development stages and understanding of the external landscape and key players in the Oncology space.
- Strong insight into strategic and commercial drivers of the pharmaceutical market with a thorough understanding of the drug development and commercialization process.
- Experience building out (sub)functions and implementing infrastructure and best practice.
- B.A. or BSc. in Life Sciences with an MSc, MBA or Ph.D.
- Line management experience preferred, matrix management experience acceptable alternative.
We offer a competitive salary range of $253,000 to $305,000 for candidates based at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
Please note that base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
