St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester seeks a skilled Crisis Therapist Support Counselor to assist Crisis Therapists with concrete and supportive services related to referrals and contacts with patients, families, and community agencies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing outreach, crisis calls, and supportive counseling
  • Ensuring linkages and networking with referral sources
  • Engagement and transitional visits to ensure stabilization
  • Monitoring referrals and managing emergencies as they arise

Requirements include a strong background in outpatient mental health, ability to work with challenging patients and families, and good working knowledge of community resources.

Minimum work experience: two-three years clinical experience.

Pay: $25-28/hr
