Ochsner Health's John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute is actively seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist to provide exceptional care for hospitalized patients in our Critical Care Unit and Step-Down Unit.

The Department of Cardiology at Ochsner Medical Center comprises a team of 36 cardiovascular specialists dedicated to optimizing patient access, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. Our program consistently ranks among the nation's best in Heart and Heart Surgery.

Our dedicated inpatient cardiology service operates from 7 AM to 7 PM, with a structured schedule of one week on and one week off. This role includes:

  • A distinct advanced heart failure and cardiology transplant service for inpatient care.
  • Opportunities for teaching medical residents and cardiology fellows, fostering leadership skills, and engaging in clinical research initiatives.
