About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at Abbott Laboratories. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing advanced engineering, sales, and technical support to our customers in the field of Cardiac Rhythm Technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level technical support to customers, including physicians, healthcare professionals, and field sales staff, on our CRM products.
  • Act as a senior clinical interface between the medical community and our business, building and sustaining credible relationships with customers and sharing product expertise.
  • Identify and report customer needs, product performance, and potential sales opportunities to sales representatives and management to influence sales growth and service of accounts.
  • Develop, lead, and facilitate trainings and other programs on CRM products to healthcare professionals.
  • Provide insight, guidance, and feedback to management on market feedback and components of next-generation products.
  • Provide regional CRM implant case coverage and additional support to CRM Sales Representatives in areas such as sales support, regional training seminars, clinical studies/data collection, trouble shooting, and new product in-service training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, related field, or equivalent healthcare experience required.
  • Ability to become certified on SJMSC CRM products.
  • A minimum of 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or cardiac electro-physiology procedures.
  • Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol.
  • Must apply engineering skills and abilities to interpret and solve complex clinical problems.
  • Must have comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work effectively with engineers, technical specialists, vendors, and customers to achieve assigned goals.
