Job Details

Ancho & Agave is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients and final products to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Store food and other items properly to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Follow recipes and prep lists to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Label and stock ingredients on shelves for easy access.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Present and garnish final dishes to meet our high standards.
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures to ensure a smooth operation.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in food preparation in a scratch kitchen.
  • Ability to follow recipes and prep lists accurately.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
