Position Overview
*Southern Foodservice Management, Inc.*, a prominent national food service provider, is seeking a dedicated *Dishwasher/Utility Worker* for our corporate dining facility. We specialize in catering for various events, including club gatherings, weddings, and other celebrations.


Work Schedule
The position operates Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Typical hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with some events requiring earlier start times and later finishes.

Compensation
The hourly wage for this role is $14.00.


Candidate Profile
We are in search of an individual who values punctuality, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently wash and store all dishes and kitchen utensils.
  • Manage waste disposal, sweeping, mopping, and general kitchen and dining area cleaning.
  • Assist the Chef Manager with additional tasks as needed.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Exhibit a positive and helpful demeanor towards customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • High reliability and flexibility in scheduling are essential.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial dishwashing equipment.
  • Hand wash glassware and other items as required.
  • Consistently follow sanitation guidelines.
  • Support prep cooks and kitchen staff during busy periods.
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work duties.
  • Adhere to safety standards and dress code at all times.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as directed.
  • Capable of lifting 25 lbs. or more.
