The estimated salary for this role is $93,000 - $157,000 per year, depending on individual qualifications and experience. Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Application Developer to join our team as a Full Stack Developer. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale applications that allow passengers to use their mobile devices for in-flight entertainment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with our development team to design and develop scalable software solutions;
- Developing and updating UX, RESTful APIs, associated libraries, and data sources;
- Participating in agile software development, ceremonies, user story reviews, planning sessions, etc.;
- Ensuring all deliverables comply with the latest industry standards and best practices for design, code quality, performance, and security;
- Conducting design and code reviews with other team members and maintaining up-to-date documentation;
- Supporting software releases, including monitoring and defect resolution when needed;
- Developing and implementing web-based software applications;
- Developing software components and unit tests;
- Implementing new features based on business requirements;
- Collaborating with a team of developers and product managers;
- Developing and maintaining quality software product code;
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software;
- Building scalable software solutions;
- Assisting in enhancing existing software components and adding new features;
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proficiency with multiple front-end programming languages and frameworks, including CSS/SASS/SCSS, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and React JS;
- Proficiency with multiple back-end programming languages and frameworks, including JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and Python;
- Proficient in AWS and database technology;
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field;
- 5-10 years of experience developing software.
