Job SummaryThe Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for performing inspections on incoming materials, in-progress processes, and finished goods to ensure they meet our quality standards. This is a full-time, onsite role with company benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet specifications and include necessary documentation.
- Sample incoming materials for retention and any testing deemed necessary.
- Inspect and ensure line readiness for setup, follow through on start-up and approvals.
- Document line inspections and provide dispositions on results of inspections.
- Accurately complete all Quality Assurance forms.
- Issue NCMRs (Non-Conforming Materials Report) as required.
- Inspect packaging and/or finished products quality to meet specifications.
- Visually inspect components to meet work order specifications.
- Check weights to meet range specifications.
- Collect and distribute microbiological samples.
- Collect line samples for testing and customer submission.
- Submit samples from packaging inspections as required for development of masters, resolution of quality holds.
- Ensure all employees adhere to GMP guidelines.
- High School Diploma or GED and 1 year QA experience highly preferred.
- Ability to communicate, write, and read in English.
- Must be able to use and willing to learn how to use standard measuring equipment.
- Basic computer literacy skills in Office Standard Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Office Suite.
- Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries.
- Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred.
