Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and address the needs of walk-in customers and respond to telephone/email inquiries effectively.
  • Maintain clear communication and demonstrate active listening skills with customers, colleagues, vendors, and management.
  • Handle challenging customer interactions with empathy, transforming potentially stressful situations into positive outcomes.
  • Take ownership of customer issues related to returns, packing, shipping, and printing, providing practical solutions.
  • Oversee the logistics of small to medium-sized projects, ensuring timely completion and keeping all stakeholders informed.
  • Create, proof, and update print materials using Adobe and Microsoft software for both Mac and PC platforms.
  • Operate all relevant equipment and software proficiently, and assist in training others as needed.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to enhance production efficiency.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a strong focus on detail and quality control.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
  • May be responsible for opening and closing the store and conducting end-of-day accounting procedures.
  • Engage in continuous learning about new products, services, and industry trends, including occasional retraining on less frequently used services.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience is required; additional experience is preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in graphic design or a related field, or a two-year degree in graphic design.
  • Availability to work on weekends as needed.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
  • Understanding of printing concepts and their applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective project and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player.
