PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT (PCA)

Part Time, Day Shifts

Position Overview:

  • Support residents with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and hygiene as required throughout the shift.
  • Assist with oral care routines, including denture maintenance, during morning wake-up, post-meals, and at bedtime.
  • Document patient care activities at the conclusion of each shift, ensuring accurate input of intake and output records.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisory staff.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to address resident needs and implement treatment plans as instructed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Certified nursing assistant credentials, registered with the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing care for elderly patients and a sincere concern for their well-being.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow directives effectively.
  • Participation in ongoing training and team meetings as necessary.
