Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized instruction and training to students in sailing and seamanship
  • Support marine programs and activities, including vessel maintenance and repair
  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of large vessels
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement sailing and seamanship programs
Requirements
  • Education and experience in sailing and seamanship, or a related field
  • Knowledge of marine systems and vessel maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to the elements. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is required. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are also necessary.
