Position Overview: Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to lead our security initiatives and serve as the Facility Security Officer (FSO). This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and safety of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all security protocols related to Collateral operations, including Security Management, Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security, and Security Education.
  • Collaborate closely with the Special Access Programs (SAP) Security Manager and Contract Program Security Officers (CPSOs) to maintain compliance with SAP regulations.
  • Supervise the Collateral responsibilities of CPSOs, ensuring effective management of personnel security, program access requests, and foreign travel reporting.
  • Act as the primary security liaison for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, directing security measures associated with USG Collateral programs.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for security personnel and coordinate with contract security staff.
  • Manage all aspects of the defense industrial security program, including contract security specifications, security education, incident investigations, and access control. Ensure adherence to corporate and governmental security standards.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures, addressing security challenges at all organizational levels. Prepare budget proposals and manage procurement of security-related services and equipment.
  • Conduct investigations and provide insights to senior management. Participate in FSO meetings and keep the Senior Manager informed of significant security issues.
  • Ensure security staff effectively utilize corporate security tools and databases. Lead self-inspections and assessments, including Defense Security Service Security Vulnerability Assessments and internal audits. Manage Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E) programs and compliance with related standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of 32 CFR 117 (NISPOM).
  • Proven experience in security management and as a Facility Security Officer.
  • Proficiency in managing personnel and facility actions within security databases.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams effectively.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Competence in MS Office and other computer applications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Additional Skills:

  • Familiarity with Special Access Programs (SAP).
  • A collaborative and innovative leadership approach.
  • Experience managing teams across various functional areas.
  • Knowledge of DoD Manuals for SAPs.
  • Background in managing Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E) and COMSEC programs.
  • Understanding of counterintelligence and access control systems.
  • Awareness of foreign visit and ITAR/export control requirements.
Security Clearance Requirement: This role necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Work Schedule: This position operates on a full-time basis with a flexible work schedule.
