**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Operations Manager to join our team at Progressive Roofing. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading multiple service foremen to perform work safely and productively per specifications and to the standards of the company and customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership to foremen, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and discipline resulting in efficient and professional roof system installation.
- Quality and Service: Ensure consistently high-quality service and results, representing the company in a professional manner in all dealings with customers, personnel, and the public.
- Project Management: Effectively manage all aspects of service field work to meet company and project goals, including supervising foremen to lead safe and efficient roof system installations.
- Communication and Customer Service: Engage with customers to answer questions and provide explanations, schedule daily or weekly contact with customers to review progress, and meet with customers to verify satisfaction with work and billing.
- Safety and Compliance: Observe safety and security procedures, report and/or correct potentially unsafe conditions, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Team Development and Management: Develop subordinates' skills and encourage growth, delegate work assignments, and make timely decisions to ensure the success of the team.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED plus five (5) years in a commercial roofing environment.
- Considerable knowledge of various commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
- Safety Training: OSHA 30-Hour Card.
- Good knowledge of state and local building codes, including Uniform Building Code, and electrical and plumbing codes.
- Experience in determining roof types and estimating materials, hours, and replacement costs for commercial roofing projects, directing large-scale commercial roofing projects, and interpreting roofing plans, specifications, and standards.
