Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled LPN Medication Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Medication Administration Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
  • Document medication administration and any changes to resident care plans.
  • Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director.
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
  • Transcribe orders and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to make choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interest.
  • Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
