Customer Service Representative

The Flamingo Resort & Spa seeks a skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests, registering them, and ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
About the Job:
- Greet customers immediately with a warm welcome, using positive and clear communication.
- Complete registration by inputting and retrieving information from the computer system, confirming details such as room rate and number of guests.
- Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash, and balance the house bank.
- Promptly answer phone calls, using clear English communication, and retrieve messages for guests.
- Closely monitor guest accounts, resolve complications, and negotiate compromises when necessary.
- Maintain a calm and alert demeanor during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- No prior experience required; prior hospitality experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the front office area continuously.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in using a calculator.
