We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Slidell Memorial Hospital in a travel position. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in various patient procedures, operating equipment to obtain diagnostic images, and ensuring safe radiation practices.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the medical team in various patient procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography systems.
- Conduct patient monitoring and ensure safe radiation practices during procedures.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Associate degree in radiologic sciences required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience as an allied health professional preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
