As a key member of our community outreach program, you will be responsible for providing preventative dental services to Head Start and school-age children in multiple community locations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide preventative dental care services, including assessments, fluoride treatments, and dental sealants, to Head Start and school-age children in community settings.
- Work independently in multiple community locations, using a high level of decision-making skills to complete all hygiene services, intra-oral photos, x-rays, assessments, and preventive treatments.
- Utilize state-of-the-art tele-health technology to communicate and collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement marketing and education strategies to promote oral health awareness and recruit patients for dental services.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders, including schools, Head Start programs, and local healthcare organizations, to promote oral health and access to dental care.
- Accredited hygiene technical school or college degree.
- Current applicable state dental license (or ability to acquire one by the time of employment).
- Oregon EPDH license.
- Other licenses/certifications, such as CPR and local certified anesthesia.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
